Malaysia is one amongst Asia Dragons, because of the fast growing economies. Located in the heart of Southeast Asia, the beautiful country has two parts: firstly the Peninsular Malaysia, which shares border with Thailand in North and Singapore in South, and second part is East Malaysia, with Sabah and Sarawak state it shares boundaries with island Borneo, with Brunei and Indonesia.

Malaysia is a pleasant and hassle-free country in whole of Southeast Asia. A society blessed with an interesting and vibrant fusion of Malay, Indian and Chinese indigenous customs and traditions. The Chinese are mainly active in trade and Malays in government. However, the government policies of 1970s have improved the distinction and in current times, one can easily find representatives of all races in any or the other field.

The capital city Kuala Lumpur is settled on West Coast and acts a perfect starting point to other parts of Malaysia. The city is commonly called by its acronym “KL”, is ever brimming with activity and homes plentiful surprises for visitors, be it sightseeing, shopping or just relaxation.

When want to get away from hustle and bustle of KL, head towards hilly regions or particularly to Fraser Hill or Cameron Highlands. Developed under British as retreats, they have managed to maintain their charm as relaxing getaways. Also, a break to Langkawi Island, or visiting historic Melaka or Penanag can be a fun idea. Nearly all the major cities and towns of Malaysia are easily accessible via roads and expressways.

For adventure and thrill seekers, there are destinations like Sabah and Sarawak, all popular for their fascinating wildlife, spectacular Mulu caves, the highest peak Mount Kinabalu and native longhouses. Then Pulau Sipadan presents some of the best scuba diving in the world.

Food is another fabulous attraction of Malaysia. Every nook and corner here would provide sensation to your eyes, nostrils and taste buds. With the influence of so many cultures, Malaysian food has a variety to offer.
